Ocean is another feel good album for folks hanging out at the beach. The biggest shock is the roar at the beginning of "Wild Tiger", which is otherwise an unassuming dance track. I prefer the followup, "The Surf", with its rad guitar work and gradually building beat. "Young Savengers" is another fun one, using more subtle guitar and bass guitar work, pushing the percussion stingers to the forefront and giving it a slight, mechanical edge. "Mid Summer" is the most soulful, with some funky bass.

Spaceship Android takes a trip to the beach. "Somewhere Along the Coast" is fun outrun in the sun with a disco beat that drifts in and out. "The Signal" begins with a lo-fi sound then cuts to normal with a spacey, astral sound. "Cruise" is another fun track that switches bakc and forth between funk and outrun with some nice guitar work. "Saw Her Yesterday" is my favorite, though, a slice of teen dreams with a bittersweet edge. Unrequited love? A past romance? The music's tone only tells so much.
